Conquer the Mount Batur Caldera. Own the Sunrise.

Came with a group of 4 friends and the group rate made it very affordable. Our guide was funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the volcano and local legends. We arrived at the summit in darkness and the moment the sun appeared was pure magic. The hot coffee and eggs on top tasted better than anything.

Booked as a couple for our honeymoon. The guide made us feel special the whole time. The boat crossing at dawn across Lake Batur, the ancient cemetery, the 2,152m summit — each moment was distinct and memorable. This tour has a completely different character from the standard Batur trek. If you want the authentic, off-the-beaten-path Bali experience, choose this one.

Solid experience overall. Met the driver at 3:30am as arranged — he was already there with hot tea waiting, which was a nice touch. Sunrise was partially cloudy but still beautiful. The black lava field more than made up for it. Guide took loads of photos and even edited a few on his phone to share via WhatsApp.

I almost cancelled because of a cloudy forecast but the guide reassured me and I am so glad I went. Clouds cleared at the summit and we had crystal clear views. Full day experience felt well-paced — never rushed. The guide was a storyteller as much as a trekker. Both breakfasts included and they were genuinely good food. Premium tour, premium experience.

Perfect organisation from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, guide was already there when we arrived at 2:30am. Trek was challenging but manageable — I am 52 and not super fit, but made it to the top no problem. The guide encouraged me the whole way. Sunrise was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We booked the jeep tour because we had already done the trek the day before and wanted a different perspective. It did not disappoint. Two completely different locations, both spectacular. The lava field photos are the best from our entire Bali trip. Driver was punctual and the jeep was clean and comfortable.
