Came with a group of 4 friends and the group rate made it very affordable. Our guide was funny, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the volcano and local legends. We arrived at the summit in darkness and the moment the sun appeared was pure magic. The hot coffee and eggs on top tasted better than anything.

Perfect organisation from start to finish. The meeting point was easy to find, guide was already there when we arrived at 2:30am. Trek was challenging but manageable — I am 52 and not super fit, but made it to the top no problem. The guide encouraged me the whole way. Sunrise was spectacular. Highly recommend.

We were a couple and the 2-person rate was very reasonable. Guide spoke great English and shared stories about Balinese culture all the way up. Summit was cold but the guide warned us — we brought jackets and were fine. Breakfast on top was unforgettable. Five stars, no hesitation.

Did this as a solo traveller and it was the best decision of my Bali trip. Having a private guide meant we went at my pace — no rushing. Left at 3am, reached the summit just as the sky turned orange. The guide provided everything: headlight, water, walking stick. Zero stress. Already recommending this to friends.

Absolutely incredible experience. Our guide Wayan was knowledgeable, patient, and made us feel completely safe on the trail. Watching the sunrise from the summit with Agung in the background — I genuinely got emotional. The breakfast cooked on volcanic steam was an unexpected highlight. Worth every cent.
