Solid experience overall. Met the driver at 3:30am as arranged — he was already there with hot tea waiting, which was a nice touch. Sunrise was partially cloudy but still beautiful. The black lava field more than made up for it. Guide took loads of photos and even edited a few on his phone to share via WhatsApp.

We booked the jeep tour because we had already done the trek the day before and wanted a different perspective. It did not disappoint. Two completely different locations, both spectacular. The lava field photos are the best from our entire Bali trip. Driver was punctual and the jeep was clean and comfortable.

Great value for a jeep tour. Driver was friendly and clearly proud of showing off his home mountain. The Black Lava Field was unexpected — walking on ancient solidified lava felt surreal and otherworldly. Photos came out incredible. Sunrise point was packed with other tours but our guide found a quiet spot for us. 5 stars.

Brought my parents (ages 68 and 71) on this tour and it was perfect for them — no hiking, just a comfortable jeep ride to the most stunning views I have ever seen. The guide doubled as photographer and took amazing shots of us at sunrise. Breakfast with the caldera view was a dream. So glad we chose the jeep option.
